Clove Essential Oil 10 ml

Clove Essential Oil belongs to the same botanical family as eucalyptus and is obtained by steam distillation of the closed bud of the clove flower, which is harvested twice a year. With a warm and distinctive scent, clove essential oil's main constituent is eugenol, an aromatic phenol (75-90%).

Recommendations: Its most notable properties are anti-infectious, used in the treatment of intestinal, urinary, and respiratory infections. It is also effective against fungal infections in the category of lung infections and candidiasis (skin, nails, mucous membranes). It exhibits superior local anesthetic action compared to lidocaine (oral pain), reduces platelet aggregation, potentially causing bleeding, inhibits cyclooxygenase and the synthesis of pro-inflammatory prostaglandins, reduces spasms, and has a sedative, calming effect.

Indications:

• Infections of all types;
• Muscle contractions, cramps, sciatica, dental pain;
• Aphthae, gingival inflammations, oral hygiene.

Usage:

• Diluted cutaneous application (5-10%).
• Oral use diluted only by adults - a maximum of 3 drops/day (1 drop = 40 mg), and the treatment duration should not exceed 5-7 days.

Usage Warnings:

• Do not apply undiluted to the skin as it may cause irritation.
• Do not apply to mucous membranes.
• Not to be used by those taking anticoagulant medications and in case of surgical intervention.
• Internally, it should only be used with a doctor's approval and for a short period as high doses can present hepatic toxicity.
